COVID-19 Case Prompts Quarantine of Bus Station Staff in Agadir, Morocco

The health authorities have forced, at the beginning of the week, the Supratours employees to remain confined at home for about ten days. The reason is the contamination of the manager of the Agadir bus station agency.
Alerted by this case of contamination at the bus station, the disinfection and sterilization services of the Agadir municipality have disinfected all the spaces of the bus station, reports Maroc Hebdo. They also strengthened the security measures, in particular the wearing of masks.
The same source specifies that the manager was recently contaminated by one of the members of his family coming from Casablanca or Rabat. Consequently, the fifteen or so employees working with Supratours, a subsidiary of ONCF, have been confined to their homes for about twelve days.
To replace these contact cases, other employees of the Tiznit, Ouarzazate and even Tan Tan carriers have been called in as reinforcements.
