Rabat’s New Bus Station Sparks Controversy Among Transport Professionals

Professionals in the passenger transport sector are up in arms against the new regulations at the new bus station in Rabat, located on the road to Temara.
Obligation to respect the indicated itinerary, by taking the road reserved for access to the bus station, located south of Rabat, near the Moulay Abdellah sports complex; prohibition of boarding or disembarking passengers or goods, loading or unloading parcels, outside the space of the new bus station... Professionals in the passenger transport sector are opposed to the new regulations at the new bus station in Rabat. They also deplore the lack of pedestrian crossings at the southern entrance of the Rabat-Casablanca motorway and near the Moulay Abdellah sports complex, which constitutes a danger for these pedestrians and the lack of parking for small and large taxis on the premises. Professional associations have also addressed a request to the supervisory authorities in this regard.
