The Council of State confirmed, on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, the dissolution of the BarakaCity association accused of inciting hatred and being close to radical Islamism. It also confirmed the temporary closure of the large mosque in Pantin.
"The judge of the Council of State’s interim relief considers that the incriminated statements of the president of the association can be attributed to the association itself and constitute speeches inciting discrimination, hatred or violence, which may justify a dissolution," explained the Council of State in a press release announcing the decision.
