French Government Dissolves Islamic NGO BarakaCity for Alleged Extremist Ties

The French Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin, announced on Twitter the dissolution by the Council of Ministers of the NGO BarakaCity. This decision comes a few days after the assassination of a history and geography teacher.
On his Twitter account, the minister recalled the reasons that led to this dissolution: "As detailed in the decree I presented, it (the BarakaCity association) incited hatred, maintained relations within the radical Islamist movement, and took pleasure in justifying terrorist acts." In addition to his explanations on Twitter, the minister attached a copy of the "decree on the dissolution of an association".
"Considering that all the comments generated by the messages published on the social media accounts of the BarakaCity association in themselves constitute incitement to hatred, discrimination and violence, that they are still accessible without its president, or any member of the association, proceeding either to their removal or even to any moderation of the statements thus disseminated (...) the Council of Ministers, having heard, decrees that the association called Barakacity is dissolved," this is how the Council pronounced the dissolution of this association.
According to the document published by the minister on his Twitter account, the association in question disseminates hateful, discriminatory and violent ideas "advocating radical Islamism and, through the personal Twitter account of its president as well as the Facebook and Twitter accounts of the association".
