Comedian Tarik Bakhari Denies Sexual Harassment Claims, Calls Accuser ’Fragile’
Comedian Tarik Bakhari, who was the subject of serious allegations of sexual harassment by his colleague Najat Khairallah, reacts. He flatly rejects these accusations and describes the alleged victim as a "fragile person, with a vulnerable psychology".
Najat Khairallah "suffers from mental disorders" and "may God heal her. [...] In the field, we are brothers and sisters. We laugh, without ulterior motives," said Tarik Bakhari on Hit radio. According to the comedian, Najat Khairallah may be influenced by other people, because she is a "fragile woman, with a vulnerable psychology". "The conversations are falsified. All this was organized and went viral," said the actor, before calling on his colleague to file a complaint for sexual harassment if she has evidence. "If there is harassment, you have to go to the police, if you have evidence, file a complaint," he told her.
With screenshots of their conversation as evidence, Najat Khairallah accused Tarik Bakhari of sexual harassment. "I have been suffering for several years from the behavior of a colleague who persists in his advances despite my refusal. I have forgiven him several times. Last night, he sent me indecent remarks and turned a deaf ear to my warnings. He provoked me so much that I had to react to defend myself and show him my true face. I decided to denounce this individual who did not hesitate to make advances to me during Ramadan and to insult my mother," the actress wrote on her Facebook page. This post set the web on fire.
