Cold Snap Hits Morocco: Atlas Mountains Face Sub-Zero Temperatures and Snow

It will be a rather cold day this morning in Morocco with temperatures below 0 degrees, especially on the Atlas mountains.
According to the forecasts of the National Meteorology Directorate (DMN) for this Saturday, March 28, snowfall is expected on the High Atlas reliefs from 2000 meters.
In terms of temperature, it will be this morning from -1 to 4 degrees on the Atlas reliefs, 04 to 09 degrees on the Rif, the Oriental and the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus and from 09 to 14 degrees elsewhere in the Kingdom.
In the afternoon, the thermometer should rise to reach nearly 30 degrees in the south of the country. It will be 07 to 12 degrees on the Atlas and Rif reliefs, 12 to 17 degrees on the Oriental, the Mediterranean and the southeast slopes, 18 to 23 degrees on the Saiss, the plains, the Souss, the north of the southern provinces, the extreme southeast and near the Atlantic coasts and from 23 to 28 degrees elsewhere on the southern provinces.
