Chinese Investors Eye Major Expansion in Morocco’s Textile Industry Amid Economic Recovery

Several Chinese companies are planning major investments in Morocco.
While the kingdom is weakened by the health crisis due to covid-19, major international companies, including Chinese ones, are currently in negotiations to set up in Morocco.
Given the great prospects in the textile sector, the Chinese are considering making one of their biggest investments in Morocco.
In addition to Chinese companies, the French automakers Renault and Peugeot should resume their economic activities in the coming weeks. In doing so, these factories refute the rumors that have circulated in recent days about their imminent relocation to France.
As for the Peugeot-Citroën (PSA) group, it has announced that it has completed all the preparations and taken all the necessary health and technical measures to restart production at its industrial unit in Kénitra, after obtaining the green light from the local health authorities.
