China Development Bank Donates Largest COVID-19 Aid Package to Morocco

China Development Bank has offered Morocco medical equipment including 36 respirators and 98,000 masks. The value of this donation is the highest among all those made abroad so far by the CDB as part of the fight against covid-19.
A Royal Air Maroc plane from Beijing, on May 14, chartered for the mission, landed at the Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, loaded with the equipment.
With these donations, China Development Bank wants to demonstrate its solidarity with the Moroccan population and thus contribute to the effective fight against the pandemic.
It also intends to strengthen its collaboration with financial institutions such as Bank of Africa - BMCE Group, by supporting the collaboration between the Kingdom of Morocco and the People’s Republic of China within the framework of their bilateral, economic and social cooperation.
