Chelsea’s Tuchel Backs Ziyech to Stay Amid Transfer Rumors

The question of the future of Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech at Chelsea was at the heart of an interview between coach Thomas Tuchel and the club’s board of directors. The German technician did not hesitate to make it clear that the place of the Atlas Lion is within the London club.
While rumors of Hakim Ziyech’s departure from the club were being circulated by the sports press, the German technician surprises with his statement. Accused of having neglected the Atlas Lion on the bench on many occasions, Thomas Tuchel thwarts all predictions and explains that he is satisfied with Ziyech and wishes him to stay. The Moroccan player, according to his coach, would also be happy at Chelsea.
This change in attitude is certainly due to the player’s prowess in the FA Cup. He scored the goal that qualified Chelsea against Manchester City in the semi-finals on Saturday, April 17. The Blues supporters have also elected him "man of the match".
"Tuchel has brought his own vision. I think his numbers speak for themselves, so everything is going well. We do what we have to do and we win while playing good football," he said recently in a television interview.
