Chelsea Manager Tuchel Benches Underperforming Ziyech and Havertz

Hakim Ziyech is in a bad position at Chelsea. After criticism from supporters and internet users, it is Thomas Tuchel’s turn to drive the nail in. On Saturday, after the Chelsea-Southampton match (3-1), the German technician gave a press conference in which he was very hard on the Moroccan player.
Severely criticized after the last two matches, and accused of having caused the defeat against Juventus, Hakim Ziyech remained on the bench on Saturday. At the end of the match which resulted in Chelsea’s victory, Thomas Tuchel, explained the reasons why he decided not to line up Ziyech and the German player Kai Havertz.
"We always try to do our best, but at some point, after many opportunities, we have to admit that Kai and Hakim are not in their best form. It may not even be their fault. They are struggling to be decisive," he said.
"No one is angry with them, no one has great concerns. Some players don’t feel the pressure as much, don’t have such high expectations of themselves. In a club like Chelsea, you have to be sharp every three days and you have to fight for your place," Tuchel warned.
Since the start of the season, Hakim Ziyech has only participated in 2 Premier League matches. Chelsea is currently in the lead with 16 points (5 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss).
