Changes for the Moroccan passport?

The validity of the Moroccan passport could soon be extended. This is at least the wish of a deputy, who has just made the request to the government.
The validity of the Moroccan passport is currently 5 years, and this duration does not seem to please a deputy from the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), and no doubt many Moroccans as well.
In a question asked to the Minister of the Interior, Abdelouafi Laftit, the deputy Tarik Hanich proposed to extend the validity period of the Moroccan passport to 10 years, as is already the case for many other official documents such as the national identity card and the driver’s license.
For the PAM deputy, this approach is part of a broader reform aimed at simplifying procedures and modernizing public services.
