Ceuta Police Officers Injured in Stone-Throwing Attack During Raid

Several National Police officers in Sebta were attacked by stone throwing on the night of Friday to Saturday, as they were conducting an operation in the Principe Alfonso neighborhood. They were taken to the city’s university hospital for treatment.
The agents were greeted with a hail of stones around 9 p.m. Friday near the El Principe neighborhood where they had planned a raid on a house. Attacked, they had to react by firing warning shots, according to witnesses to 20minutos.
Several agents were injured in this attack, including one to the head, although the general directorate of the police did not provide information on his state of health. At least one person was arrested after the incidents, it is specified.
Since the death in April of a teenager from a bullet to the head, the National Police have regularly carried out raids in this neighborhood in order to put an end to the deadly clashes between two gangs seeking to control the illicit trafficking in the city.
