Ceuta Implements Flexible Ferry Ticket Policy Amid Peak Marhaba Operation Traffic

Ceuta has decreed since Saturday noon the interchangeability of boat tickets as part of the Marhaba Operation, which is at a critical point this weekend with the end of the outward phase and the beginning of the return phase.
On Friday, some 2,200 vehicles arrived in Morocco from Ceuta and vice versa, the same number gained access to the autonomous city from the kingdom to Spain. The decision on interchangeability was made in the face of the significant flow expected this weekend, when the outward and return phases of the Marhaba Operation coincide, according to Ceuta Ahora.
The residents of Ceuta are the most affected by this situation. Despite the exclusive access lane dedicated to them, they spend several hours waiting at the border before entering the kingdom, as the Moroccan authorities have asked to give priority to the MREs.
