Casablanca Tops African Financial Centers in Global Ranking

Casablanca once again confirms its supremacy as a competitive financial center both at the African and international levels. Casa Finance City tops the financial ranking of the continent according to the "Global Financial Centers Index" (GFCI30).
The economic capital of the kingdom continues to improve its positioning in the Global Financial Centre Index (GFCI) ranking. This is a biannual barometer highlighting the most attractive financial centers, thus allowing multinationals to choose the location of their new subsidiaries.
For the GFCI 30 edition, the white city maintains its momentum as a competitive financial center both at the regional and international levels. It ranks 53rd out of 116 financial centers, with 632 points, respectively at the African and global levels.
With this score, the Casablanca market nevertheless loses 4 places compared to the GFCI29 ranking. Even though it still ranks in the top 3 of these centers in the MENA region and the number one financial place on the African continent, according to analysts from the Z/Yen Group.
In the MENA region, Casablanca ranks third, just after Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Globally, the financial centers are dominated by New York, London, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore.
