Casablanca Shuts Down 7 Eateries for Violating COVID-19 Measures

Local authorities have decided to close seven establishments in Casablanca. This decision comes as part of the implementation of the provisions of the state of health emergency and preventive measures against the spread of Covid-19.
According to the local authorities of the prefecture of Casablanca districts, this suspension should last between 48 hours and one week, following the non-compliance with certain preventive measures against the pandemic.
Among these establishments are the Tahiti beach tourist complex, the Miami beach tourist complex, the Chez Paul cafe-restaurant, the Le Treff restaurant, the Karam restaurant, the La Presse restaurant and the Los Bandidos restaurant.
Concerned to contain this pandemic, the local authorities and associations have carried out operations in the various neighborhoods, public places, markets and gathering places of citizens in order to continue raising awareness.
