Casablanca Shisha Bar Raided for Violating COVID-19 Lockdown Measures

The manager of a shisha bar in Casablanca was arrested on Tuesday, April 1st for violating the state of health emergency.
According to police sources, the operator of this shisha cafe in Casablanca continued to operate despite Morocco’s decision to close all these establishments in order to counter the spread of the coronavirus.
Informed, the local authorities, accompanied by the security forces, stormed the cafe in Ben M’Sick in Casablanca to enforce this decision.
Several customers were caught in the act, smoking shisha or drinking alcohol. Arrested, the accused were taken into custody for the needs of the investigation.
