Casablanca-Settat: the big clean-up before the arrival of King Mohammed VI

The visit of King Mohammed VI to the Casablanca region is in preparation. Intensive paving, asphalting, and beautification works have been undertaken in Dar Bouazza, the prefecture of the Nouaceur province, up to the commune of Lamharza Essahel, in the prefecture of the El Jadida province.
A royal visit is planned in the near future in the region. The local authorities, accompanied by the administrative authorities and the municipal agents, as well as the members of the auxiliary forces, are active on the ground. They are carrying out a vast campaign to free the public domain and proceed with the cleaning along the coastal road, which connects Casablanca to Azemmour, and the coastal strip of the Atlantic Ocean near Douar Brahma, in the province of Berrechid, reports Kech24. The cleaning, weed removal, fight against public domain occupation and sidewalk painting works have started at the commune level.
The paving of streets, roundabouts and dilapidated places, and in particular national road number one, and the coastal road known as the Azemmour road, connecting Sidi Rahal Chataï to Dar Bouazza, are underway. The local authorities have also started to requisition and paint a number of shop facades, and to plant trees and flowers, on the sides and around the coastal road.
This royal visit will be marked by the inauguration of many projects and the launch of others.
