King Mohammed VI to Visit Seawater Desalination Plant Near El Jadida

A vast cleaning operation was launched on Thursday in the provinces of El Jadida, Berrechid and Nouaceur in the Casablanca-Settat region, in anticipation of the visit of King Mohammed VI to the seawater desalination plant, under construction in the commune of Moharaza Sahel, near El Jadida.
The surroundings and vicinity of coastal road number 320, better known as the Azemmour road, connecting Casablanca to El Jadida, are being cleaned in anticipation of this royal visit, which will take place on Wednesday, January 24. Mohammed VI is expected on that date to visit the seawater desalination plant under construction in the commune of Mharza Sahel, near El Jadida.
This royal visit should give a boost to the realization of this royal project intended to provide drinking water to the populations of the region who suffer the adverse effects of the drought that has been hitting the kingdom for three years.
