Casablanca Ranks Among Most Affordable Cities for International Students in Africa

Casablanca ranks, for the second consecutive year, among the three cheapest cities in Africa for international students. This is revealed by a study conducted by the International School Database.
With an average cost of $4,067 (41,000 DH) per year, Casablanca retains its position as the second cheapest city in Africa for international students in 2022. At the global level, it ranked 3rd. Nairobi (Kenya) tops the ranking of the cheapest cities in the African continent to study. It is followed by Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), Johannesburg (South Africa) and Kampala (Uganda). The International School Database places Cape Town (South Africa) at the bottom of the ranking.
"Africa continues to offer the lowest costs for international schools compared to other regions. Out of the 76 cities included in our analysis, African cities have all ranked among the 20 cheapest," the study notes.
