Casablanca Emerges as Top Budget-Friendly Destination for International Students in Africa

To study in Africa at a lower cost, one can now go to Casablanca. The Moroccan economic capital is, this year, among the least expensive cities on the continent for international education.
This is one of the conclusions of the study conducted by the International School Database, which published on December 6 the data showing the most and least expensive student cities, particularly in Africa.
According to the results cited by Challenge, Casablanca has made a major economic and strategic turnaround "going from the most expensive city last year to the second least expensive this year, due to a significant drop in the median price." Specifically, it ranked second least expensive city on the African continent, with an average cost of $4,735 (43,585 DH) per year.
Among the other least expensive cities in Africa revealed by the study, we can mention Cape Town and Johannesburg in South Africa, which also offer some of the most affordable international tuition fees.
As for the most expensive cities in Africa for international education, the International School Database ranked the city of Nairobi at the top of the list. School prices in the Kenyan capital range from just over $5,000 (46,024 DH) per year to just under $15,000 (138,073 DH).
The United States, China, Switzerland and the United Kingdom remain the four most expensive countries for international education, according to the study data.
