Casablanca Police Arrest Suspected Serial Rapist After Freeing Kidnapped Health Worker
The elements of the judicial police of Casablanca succeeded in apprehending an actively sought-after serial rapist for having kidnapped a health auxiliary who was about to go to work. The suspect is accused of torture and multiple sexual assaults.
Various information allowed a mixed team composed of the judicial police and the drug squad to locate the kidnapper’s apartment, who put up fierce resistance at the time of the search. According to Assabah, he would have threatened several police officers with a bladed weapon, before fleeing. But the police were able to free the health auxiliary. After receiving care, the victim recounted how she was held hostage and the multiple sexual assaults she suffered.
Knowing the identity of the rapist, the police used the information provided to pursue the suspect who was finally arrested. According to the same source, the investigators have 4 video sequences showing the suspect brutalizing his victims. Faced with the fait accompli, the accused admitted to having kidnapped his victims very early in the morning, before taking them to his home where he held them hostage and raped them while filming the scenes.
