Casablanca Police Arrest 28 Drivers for Illegal Tram Lane Use After Viral Video

In Casablanca, the police arrested 28 drivers who compromised the safety of the tramway and passengers by driving on a lane that is not reserved for them. These arrests follow the dissemination of a video on social media showing the overtaking of these drivers.
In the video, vehicles could be seen using a prohibited lane on Boulevard Ba Ahmed in Casablanca. The research and investigations carried out by the police made it possible to identify the owners of three cars among the people involved in these criminal acts, according to a statement from the Casablanca police.
The operations led to the arrest of 28 vehicle drivers caught in flagrant violation of the Highway Code, it is indicated.
