Casablanca Passport Official Arrested in Corruption Probe

The judicial police of Casablanca opened, on Monday, December 30, a judicial investigation against a caïd in office in the passport service at the prefecture of Sidi Bernoussi. He would be involved in a corruption case.
Pending the conclusions of the investigation, the defendant was placed in custody and will certainly be brought before the courts.
He has been temporarily suspended from his duties pending the results of the judicial investigation, which will allow the administration to take the appropriate disciplinary and administrative measures, says barlamane.com.
