Casablanca Gyms Set to Reopen with COVID-19 Restrictions in Place

After several months of closure, gyms are gradually reopening in Morocco. Following those in Mohammedia which have been offering their services to fitness enthusiasts since this Friday, the fitness centers in Casablanca will resume operations as of Monday.
The measure is not the subject of an official communication, but after the hammams, all gyms are authorized to reopen, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. However, they must not exceed 50% of their capacity and strictly comply with social distancing measures and the state of emergency.
With this good news, a period of flexibility in the semi-lockdown measures to which the city has been subjected for several months now is opening up in Casablanca.
In Casablanca, after deconfinement, fitness clubs reopened, but for a short time, to the great dismay of professionals, after the second decision to close them last August.
