Casablanca’s Grand Theater: Africa’s Newest Cultural Landmark Set to Open

Located in the heart of the Moroccan metropolis, the Grand Theater of Casablanca is finally ready to be inaugurated. A multidisciplinary space, it is one of the largest cultural spaces in Africa and the Arab world.
The complex, with a purely artistic vocation, with, in particular, theater, dance, music and musical comedy, required a budget of 1.4 billion dirhams.
Started in October 2014, on the famous Mohammed V square, the work was able to be completed a month before the deadline of the project. Casablancans are excited to discover this cultural space, with a particular style and dimensions.
Expected to make the metropolis an African capital of the Arts and culture, the project also makes it possible to give new impetus to the local artistic scene, by ensuring the promotion of the works of the players in the sector.
