Casablanca Beaches Cleared of Illegal Vendors Ahead of Summer Season

The authorities of the Wilaya of the Casablanca-Settat region are conducting campaigns to liberate and develop beaches, in preparation for the upcoming summer season.
The authorities of the Nouaceur prefecture are working to develop the beaches that experience an influx of visitors during the summer. In this dynamic, they have asked parking attendants not to collect money from visitors for parking their cars and motorcycles along the coast.
Local authorities have also warned parasol and chair renters who impose fees on visitors wishing to relax on the beaches, assuring that offenders will face the full force of the law.
For their part, the Casablanca authorities are also working to organize and develop the beaches, particularly those in Anfa (Ain Diab) as well as Ain Sebaa, to allow Casablanca residents and visitors to the city to spend good moments in good conditions, reaffirming their determination to free these spaces from parasols and to fight against car guards.
The municipality of Casablanca intends to ensure strict compliance with the specifications related to the exploitation, management, and animation of beaches during the summer season. This document provides for strict rules regarding cleanliness, hygiene, organization, and maintenance of facilities.
