Casablanca: The anger of residents in the face of the invasion of waste!
Residents of a housing estate in Sidi Bernoussi express their anger at the massive accumulation of waste in their streets. Between nauseating odors and health risks, they denounce the lack of intervention by the cleaning services and directly appeal to the Casablanca city hall.
The social climate is tense in Amlak El Bernoussi. The alleys and passages of the neighborhood are now cluttered with piles of rubbish that are no longer collected, turning the living spaces into real environmental black spots. In addition to household waste, the accumulation of construction debris and dust is degrading the aesthetics of this residential area.
The concern of families is intensifying as the hot season approaches. Residents fear serious health consequences due to the proliferation of insects and nauseating emanations. They are calling for urgent intervention to put an end to what they describe as a blatant failure in the management of the cleanliness sector.
This deterioration calls into question the promises of modernization of urban services in the economic capital. Faced with the obvious lack of interventions on the ground, many citizens are now openly questioning the absence of the mayor of Casablanca, believing that the reality of their neighborhood contradicts the official commitments.
