Cancer Patient Escapes During Hospital Transfer from Rabat Prison

The escaped prisoner seems to have well prepared his escape, from the prison. Suffering from cancer, he staged the deterioration of his health, leading to hospitalization outside the prison walls. Upon arrival, the prisoner underwent the usual examinations, before the doctors decided to hospitalize him. But, he took advantage of a moment of inattention of the officer in charge of his surveillance to escape, reports the daily Assabah.

For now, a wanted notice has been issued against him, with his photo as well as the new charge brought against him, namely "escape from a detention center". An investigation has been opened to determine all the gray areas surrounding this spectacular escape. The security services managed to obtain the surveillance camera recordings, which showed that the prisoner, who is nevertheless of a certain age, managed to escape by passing through a secondary door of the hospital.

According to the latest news, the individual would have been arrested last Tuesday, but the information has not been confirmed by official sources.
