CAN 2025 : Here’s what the winners will receive

The announcement was made this Saturday by the CAF president. The successor to Côte d’Ivoire will thus receive around 8.4 million euros, marking a clear progression compared to the previous edition where the Elephants had received $7 million.

"We will continue to increase the prize money," said the South African leader, confirming an upward trend that has been underway for several years (the prize was less than $5 million not long ago).

For comparison, this amount places the victory in the CAN final slightly above that of Euro 2024, where Spain received 8 million euros for their success against England. The gap remains, however, immense with the World Cup, with FIFA having already set the prize for the 2026 winner at $50 million.
