Businessman Kidnapped in Tangier Currency Exchange Scheme, Ransom Demanded

It was a bad adventure experienced by a businessman from the city of Tangier who was kidnapped and then held hostage by a group of individuals who seem to be very well organized and who would not be at their first operation.
The case is published by the newspaper Al Ahdath Al Maghribia cited by the site le360, which reports that a businessman was approached by a group of men for a currency exchange operation that he was to carry out for an amount estimated at around 100,000 euros and for an expected gain of 400,000 dirhams. After the usual discussions, an appointment was given to him near Larache where he was to hand over the agreed amount, but on the road, he was forced to stop his car by the gang members.
Threatened with knives and taken to an isolated place, the hooded criminals tied his hands and relieved him of the sum of 600,000 dirhams before disappearing into thin air.
At the police station, he recognizes the face of the leader among the many photos presented by the police. It is a man who is already the subject of several wanted notices at the national level. Identified, he is actively sought by the police and faces many years in prison given what he is accused of.
