Brutal Double Homicide Shocks Moroccan Town of Driouch After Home Invasion

The murder of a couple, following a burglary that went wrong on Monday, July 29, 2019, plunged the populations of the commune of Ouardana, in the province of Driouch, into emotion.
According to Le360, based on local sources, the couple was murdered, under atrocious conditions, by burglars who broke into their home and left with several valuable items.
According to the same source, two of the alleged perpetrators, who occupied a neighboring dwelling to that of the murdered couple, were detained by elements of the Royal Gendarmerie, from the Ibn Tayeb Brigade.
In the Bensouda district, where the murder took place, the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie did not take long to go to the scene. Later, the forensic police investigations will confirm the participation in this drama of other elements of the gang against whom, the same media indicates, an investigation has already been opened by the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
