Moroccan Authorities Bust Sheep Theft Ring in Driouch Province, 7 Suspects Arrested

The elements of the Royal Gendarmerie of Boudinar solved the case of the theft of about thirty sheep. It was perpetrated in the Trougout region, which falls under the rural commune of Temsamane in the province of Driouch.
A total of seven suspects were apprehended by the Royal Gendarmerie of Boudinar and handed over to justice, reports Aujourd’hui Le Maroc. Among them, two are being held in pre-trial detention. The other five were granted conditional release.
The plaintiff, a breeder from the Driouch region, had noticed the disappearance of about thirty sheep from his herd upon waking up.
He decides to conduct his own investigation by going to the weekly market. There he notices that several sheep among the animals on display for sale were his. This is how he alerted the gendarmerie, which quickly dispatched elements to the scene to arrest the thieves.
