Originally from India, a British national, residing in Aourir, 10 km from Agadir, disappeared for several days before his body was discovered.
According to the site Agadir24, the victim, born in 1972, had cut off all contact with his relatives despite numerous phone calls.
A search of his home, carried out with the help of the Royal Gendarmerie, led to the discovery of his lifeless body in the middle of a hermetically sealed room.
The presence of a charcoal brazier in the room dispelled any speculation as to the cause of his death. According to the initial elements of the investigation, the victim would have been asphyxiated by carbon monoxide inhalation.
