Italian Tourist Found Dead in Agadir Apartment, Coronavirus Link Investigated

The discovery of the body of an Italian tourist, in his apartment in hay El Qods in Agadir, has put the health and security services of the city on alert.
Alerted by neighbors, intrigued by the foul odors emanating from the apartment, the police services found his body in an advanced state of decomposition. The possibility of his infection with coronavirus cannot be ruled out, especially since the Italian national had arrived in Morocco on February 15.
His disappearance was initially announced by another compatriot, who had also rented an apartment in Agadir upon his arrival in Morocco on March 2. He was placed in quarantine, pending the results of laboratory tests.
The health authorities and the security services in Agadir are in a race against time to find all the people who have been in contact with the victim.
