Moroccan Expat Found Dead in Inezgane Home, Body in Advanced Decomposition

A Moroccan living abroad was found dead at his home in Inezgane on Sunday evening, February 16th. At the time of the search, the body was in an advanced state of decomposition on the terrace of the home.
The incident had caused a general state of alert among the authorities of the city, when a group of neighbors had reported the emanation of foul odors from the home of the Moroccan national.
Residing in France, the man had arrived alone in Inezgane a few days earlier. Intrigued by the pestilential odors, the neighbors reported it to the judicial police services, who searched the home on the orders of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
Pending the results of the autopsy, ordered by the Attorney General, a judicial investigation has been opened to determine the exact circumstances of the death.
