Body of Missing French Woman Found in Remote Moroccan Town

The highly decomposed body of a French national was discovered last Wednesday in Tagounit, a small town near Zagora. She had not given any sign of life for several days.
The victim, a sexagenarian living alone in a house in Tagounit, had not given any sign of life for more than 4 days, reports Hespress, which specifies that her relatives had tried in vain to contact her, without success.
Worried by this sudden disappearance, her family finally contacted the services of the Royal Gendarmerie who had to call on the civil protection elements to force the entry of the house. Dead at home for 4 days, her body had started to decompose.
An investigation has been opened under the supervision of the public prosecutor’s office to determine the exact circumstances of her death, pending the autopsy report ordered by the public prosecutor’s office.
