Body of Missing Italian Tourist Found on Moroccan Beach Near Dakhla

24 hours after the announcement of her disappearance, the lifeless body of an Italian tourist was discovered, on Sunday, December 5, on a deserted beach in the city of Dakhla.
A large combing operation of the area, carried out by elements of the Royal Gendarmerie and the Auxiliary Forces, made it possible to find the body on the Boutalha beach, a few kilometers from the city, reports the site Akhbarona.
Visiting the south of Morocco as part of an excursion by camper van, the young woman had disappeared in the Moroccan desert.
According to the initial elements of the investigation, the victim is likely to have drowned, since her body bears no signs of violence. An autopsy has been ordered to determine the exact circumstances of the death.
