A British Airways (BA) flight from London Gatwick to Marrakech made an emergency landing at Porto Airport in Portugal on Thursday, October 17. And for good reason...
The emergency landing was due to technical problems. Fortunately, the landing was successful, and the passengers emerged unscathed, reports The Sun. According to the same source, the Airbus A320 was carrying 167 passengers.
"We are really sorry for the delay caused after our plane was diverted as a precaution for technical reasons," said a BA spokesperson. He tried to put an end to rumors of smoke in the cabin.
