Royal Air Maroc Flight Diverted to Bordeaux After Passenger Medical Emergency

Two planes, including one belonging to Royal Air Maroc (RAM), had to be diverted in flight on Sunday, February 23 to Bordeaux-Mérignac airport, due to passenger illness.
The first incident occurred at 8:02 am on a Royal Air Maroc Paris-Marrakech flight. A 57-year-old woman had a medical emergency. The second occurred at 9:29 am on a TAP Air Portugal Porto-Brussels flight. A 66-year-old man felt unwell. The emergency services took care of these passengers, who were transported to the Pellegrin University Hospital in a non-critical condition, reports France bleu.
Incidents of this kind are recurrent. On Friday, February 22, a plane operating an Easyjet Barcelona-Bristol flight had been forced to make an emergency landing in Mérignac. Reason given: a medical emergency. The previous week, it was the case of two flights operated by a Boeing 737 and an Airbus A220. The first aircraft had been diverted for a medical emergency, while the second had to land for a malfunction on the left engine.
