Transavia Flight Forced to Return After Passenger Attempts to Open Emergency Exit

An incident occurred on Friday, October 18 at 6:45 am on flight TO3010 to Marrakech. After arresting the passenger, the airline Transavia explains that it has filed a complaint.
More fear than harm for the passengers of the flight operated by Transavia. A Franco-Moroccan man did indeed try to open one of the emergency exits of the Boeing 737, fifteen minutes after takeoff. The plane had to return to land at Paris-Orly Airport, the airline said.
According to a Transavia spokesperson, this is an "impossible" act. Immediately, the crew "overpowered" the passenger. The plane turned around and returned to Orly, as per procedure. In Paris, the passenger was taken into custody by the police, reports AFP.
For now, Transavia does not know the reasons that prompted the individual to try to open the emergency exit. All passengers were then transported to their destination on another plane.
