Border Chaos at Ceuta: Hours-Long Delays as Civil Guard Intervenes at Morocco Crossing

An overflow at the access to Morocco in Tarajal on Friday caused several hours of blockage, forcing the Civil Guard to intervene to regulate pedestrian traffic.
Crossing the Tarajal border customs on Friday was a real ordeal. This situation is due to an overflow of access to Morocco, both for pedestrian passengers and those in cars, who all wanted to enter the kingdom, reports the Spanish agency Efe.
For four hours, there was a total blockage that finally saw the intervention of the Civil Guard, in order to restore the situation to normal, by ordering the circulation of pedestrians in the area, indicates the same source.
According to the police sources contacted by Efe, this situation is linked to the multiplication of checks carried out by the Moroccan police with users on foot or in cars, before their access to the Alaouite kingdom.
