Bordeaux Midfielder Mehdi Zerkane Chooses Algeria National Team Over Morocco and France

"I could have chosen Morocco or France, because of my origins, but I did indeed choose Algeria. [...] It’s a childhood dream! Born in France (Clermont-Ferrand) to an Algerian father and a Moroccan mother, Mehdi had to choose between the national teams of these three countries. He ended up joining the Fennecs. His ambition is to gain playing time, show his qualities and last in this team with which he intends to take on challenges.
