Booder's Appearance, Health and Family Truth Finally Revealed

Starring in the series « Le Nounou » this Monday on TF1, comedian Booder wanted to dispel rumors about his physical appearance. The actor says he does not suffer from any genetic disease, attributing his features to a simple family resemblance.

In this fiction broadcast on 23 February, he plays Samir, a man with unconventional methods who works for families. Although his film career has been marked by popular successes such as Neuilly sa mère!, his unusual appearance continues to raise many questions and fuel unfounded speculation about his health.

Tired of hearing « one thing and its opposite », the artist sought to set the record straight during media appearances. He notably spoke of his discomfort over messages from parents of genuinely ill children who believed they had identified a shared condition. « I don’t have an illness », the comedian insisted, putting an end to the debate.

The actor explains his appearance through natural genetic inheritance, highlighting his resemblance to one of his uncles in Morocco. Far from viewing his features as a handicap, he now describes them as « a blessing », despite the teasing he endured during his school years.

His actual medical history dates back to his premature birth in 1978 in a Moroccan village. Suffering from severe breathing difficulties, bronchiolitis and asthma from his very first breath, he was given a grim prognosis by the local doctor, who claimed that the child would not make it through the winter.
