Franco-Moroccan Comedian Booder Reveals Childhood Health Struggles

Invited to the Portrait of the Week in the "Sept à Huit" program on TF1, the Franco-Moroccan actor and comedian Booder looked back on his health problems, which he has been dealing with since birth in Morocco.
Booder opened up about his first years of life in the hospital. Born in Morocco with severe asthma and episodes of bronchiolitis, the comedian had to leave his native country for France in order to receive appropriate care. The Franco-Moroccan comedian recounts having spent the first six years of his life at the Necker-Enfants Malades hospital in Paris, and having made frequent stays there to treat his respiratory conditions.
"The memory I have of those first six years is a father who came out of work in the evening and came to see his son with all the fatigue you can know when you work. It was very complicated for my mother, because it was a heartbreak," he confided. The actor admits to having been deeply marked by this experience that affected his youth and his life.
Today, Booder does not hesitate to visit sick children at the Necker-Enfants Malades hospital, to tell them his story and provide them with his support. The Franco-Moroccan comedian is thriving professionally. After his show "Booder is back" which was a great success, he has embarked on a film career, brilliantly playing the role of Mohamed Benkhaled in the hit comedy "Neuilly sa mère", reports Voici.
In 2023, Booder co-directed "Le Grand Cirque", a comedy film inspired by his own story. He plays Momo, an unemployed actor who ends up accepting to be a clown to entertain hospitalized children. A film in tribute to healthcare professionals and volunteers who do their best to bring comfort to sick children.
