In just a few minutes, the local authorities of the city, the judicial police services, the elements of the territorial surveillance division (DST), as well as teams from the technical and scientific police, found themselves at the Meknes station, alerted by the presence of a suspicious bag abandoned in a cafe, near the station.
The police services quickly cordoned off the area, setting up a security perimeter, while evacuating the cafe where the bag had been deposited. According to the daily Al Massae, the scientific and technical police services, using a video camera installed on the spot, carried out a remote examination of the suspicious bag.
