Moroccan Man Arrested for Spreading False Coronavirus Information About Meknes

A 22-year-old individual, who filmed and disseminated a video discouraging Moroccans from going to Meknes because of the coronavirus, was arrested.
While the authorities are striving to reassure Moroccans about the efforts made to keep the kingdom away from the coronavirus epidemic, some are sowing panic by disseminating fabricated information.
The young man arrested is guilty of disseminating a video in which he presents himself as a doctor, with a protective mask covering part of his face, reports Le360.
The DGSN experts, after locating him, even managed to define the place where the video was shot in Moulay Driss Zerhoun, a locality near Meknes.
The investigators are continuing the investigation to verify whether or not the accused has links with another video where a person, presenting himself as a nurse in Meknes, tells the same false and dangerous allegations.
