In response to a written question from the Haraki group, the Minister of Transport and Logistics clarified the pricing situation of the national airline. "The rise in airline ticket prices is mainly related to the logic of supply and demand," the official stressed. The company applies a dynamic pricing system that lowers prices during the regular season, but causes them to rise during the high summer season under the pressure of tourists and Moroccans residing abroad. To limit this inflation, the company uses the rental of additional aircraft.

In parallel, Royal Air Maroc is deploying a major overhaul of its equipment. Nearly 60% of the fleet has been recently renewed with the integration of aircraft equipped with Internet and entertainment systems. Investments are also focused on ground services. The inauguration of a business lounge at Mohammed V airport and the generalization of automatic check-in aim to reduce waiting times and streamline passenger transit.

These technical improvements are accompanied by an upgrade of services. On-board meals, enhanced with a Moroccan touch, have been improved and cabin crew training has been strengthened. According to official data, these measures are bearing fruit: the company has a customer satisfaction rate ranging between 79 and 82% over the last three years, demonstrating a tangible improvement in services despite persistent complaints about the cost of flights.

The company’s roadmap now extends to 2037 with a program contract providing for the expansion of the fleet to 200 aircraft. The new deliveries will support the opening of international routes dedicated to tourism and business. Domestically, agreements concluded with various institutional partners now guarantee stable fares to better connect Moroccan cities and support local tourism.
