Béni Mellal-Marrakech Highway Project Advances with Preliminary Study Presentation

The Béni Mellal-Marrakech highway project, the realization of which will strengthen the region’s infrastructure and contribute to attracting new investments, particularly in the strategic tourism sector, is progressing. The stakeholders were presented with a preliminary study of the project.
On Thursday, the preliminary study of the Béni Mellal-Marrakech highway project was presented to the stakeholders. Welcoming the efforts made to materialize it by all the actors and stakeholders at both the central and regional and provincial levels, Khatib El Hebil, Wali of the Béni Mellal-Khénifra region, recalled that this highway will connect Béni Mellal and Marrakech via the province of Fquih Ben Salah, Kelaâ des Sraghna and Rhamna, reports the MAP.
This road infrastructure will not only streamline and facilitate road traffic, but it will also inject strong momentum into the region and the entire national territory, which will contribute to strengthening territorial attractiveness and improving the services offered to citizens, he added, also stressing the importance of intensifying contacts with the consulting firm and all the stakeholders involved in this project to examine and find solutions to the constraints encountered, in order to finalize this study as soon as possible.
