Belgian Actor Noureddine Farihi, Star of ’Thuis’ and ’Pandore’, Dies at 65

The Belgian cinema world is in mourning. Noureddine Farihi, known for his roles in the RTBF series "Pandore" and the VRT series "Thuis", has died. The actor of Moroccan origin was 65 years old.
Noureddine Farihi lost his battle against cancer, according to members of his family who described "an unfair and short battle". He died in his sleep between Tuesday and Wednesday.
Before embarking on his fight against cancer, Noureddine Farihi became known for playing the role of Mo Fawzi in "Thuis" from 1996 to 2011. He appeared in the film "Patser" (2018) and the series "Chaussée d’Amour" (2016). Cinephiles also remember his role as Commissioner Van Bocksel in the "Pandore" series, in 2022.
Noureddine Farihi left behind a cinematographic production entitled "Last Voyage of the Demeter" which is due to be released in 2023.
