Bayern's Mazraoui Transfer to West Ham Collapses, Premier League Interest Remains

While West Ham has given up on recruiting the Moroccan right-back from Bayern Munich Noussair Mazraoui, another English club is showing interest in the Moroccan international. His transfer seems imminent.

Noussair Mazraoui was about to join the Hammers after concluding a £16.4 million contract, but his transfer is no longer effective. At the origin of this failure, the personal conditions that could not be negotiated between the Premier League team and the agent of the Moroccan right-back. "Noussair #Mazraoui’s deal with West Ham is off! No agreement was reached on the agent side. Despite the agreement between the clubs (15.5 + 4) and on the player’s side, West Ham has now left the negotiations," confirms journalist Florian Plettenber in a post on X.

After the Hammers’ withdrawal, Manchester United positioned itself. "Manchester United is now pushing to sign Mazraoui. Advanced negotiations," the same journalist assures. The English club wants to add the Moroccan international to its list of players recruited during the summer transfer window. Mazraoui, who played under Ten Hag’s orders previously at Ajax, could join the Red Devils.

Arrived at Bayern Munich in the summer of 2022 from Ajax Amsterdam, Mazraoui has played 55 matches in all competitions with the Bavarian club. The 26-year-old player provided four assists in 29 appearances last season. His contract runs until June 2026, but his club is ready to "sell" him this summer if it receives an offer of 30 million euros.
